Together for Shorty: 2010

Patrick bio

His name is Patrick Keith Henry. They call him Shorty but not for lack of size. He played football at Texas A&M University from 1988-1991. He earned his bachelor's degree in '94 and completed a Master's in Educational Administration in 2005. He was working on his teaching certificate this semester and hopes to teach science. Husband to his sidekick and bestfriend, Jennifer and the proud daddy to 5 month old boy/girl twins Patrick Keith Jr. and Parker Wynn. On October 3, 2010 he had a stroke. The next day doctors performed surgery to stop and remove the bleeding from his brain. He is currently in the care of the amazing ICU staff at the College Station Medical Center. He is a son of The King, so his life has been redeemed. We do not fear death for Shorty, but we sure aren't ready for him to leave this Earth. We are exponentially grateful for your love, prayer and support. Each of you is a piece of Shorty's life and we (his family) consider it a sweet blessing that you are carrying the weight of this with us.

Fightin' Texas Aggie Wrecking Crew

Update

Today, the doctor was able to get a pain response from Shorty which is a good sign. He also has some basic reflex activity going on and his eyes do respond to tests the doctors are performing. Now we've got to get him to wiggle his toes and try to open his eyes. Keep praying for him. God listens.
